The Tesla Cybertruck is always making headlines, usually for not-so-great reasons lately. But this time, it’s all positive vibes, thanks to Katy Perry. The pop star just got herself a Tesla Cybertruck, and everyone online is buzzing about it.

Pop star and global icon Katy Perry recently got her hands on a brand new Tesla Cybertruck, joining the ranks of celebrities who’ve opted for this electric pick-up. Perry excitedly shared a snapshot with her new ride on X (formerly Twitter). Deliveries for the highly anticipated Cybertruck kicked off last December, albeit with just 10 models on day one. However, the American automaker has been steadily upping its production game since then. The all-electric offering marks Tesla’s most ambitious product yet, albeit one that’s faced its fair share of delays.

The Tesla Cybertruck grabs attention with its unique design. Its sharp angles and sleek lines give it a futuristic vibe, like something straight out of a sci-fi flick. Even the wheel arches skip the curves, sticking to the angular theme throughout.

When it comes to power, the Cybertruck offers a range of options. The base model rolls with rear-wheel drive, while the mid-level choice packs all-wheel drive and a dual-motor setup. That mid-level one can go from 0 to 60 mph in 4.1 seconds and hit a top speed of 110 mph. Then there’s the top-of-the-line Cyberbeast version, with separate motors powering each rear wheel. It churns out a whopping 833 horsepower and almost 10,000 pound-feet of torque. And it’s no slouch on the road, going from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.6 seconds and topping out at 130 mph.

Tesla offers two variants of the Cybertruck: the mid-tier boasts a maximum range of 547 km, while the Cyberbeast delivers slightly less at 515 km per charge. Its towing capacity stands strong at 5,000 kg. Packed with features like 35-inch tires, steer-by-wire, and a spacious frunk, it also sports impressive tech including an 18.5-inch touchscreen and a 9.4-inch passenger display.

Starting at $61,000 and capping at $100,000, the Cybertruck is making waves in the US market. Currently, only the top-tier and mid-tier models are rolling out, with the base variant yet to hit the roads. Celebrities like Katy Perry and Kim Kardashian have already joined the Cybertruck club, receiving their orders ahead of the curve.

As for power, the Cybertruck offers versatility: the base model features rear-wheel drive, while the mid-tier brings all-wheel drive with dual motors, propelling it from 0-100 kmph in 4.1 seconds. For those craving more oomph, the top-spec Cyberbeast variant delivers a staggering 833 bhp and nearly 14,000 Nm of torque, rocketing from 0-100 kmph in a blistering 2.6 seconds.
